    After much consideration and discussion, the American Association of Tissue Banks has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Quality & Donor Eligibility Workshop scheduled for April 6-8, 2020, in Portland, OR.
  • The World Health Organization (WHO) Assigns Codename for the Novel Coronavirus

    Previously referred to as 2019-nCoV, the infectious disease caused by the Novel Coronavirus identified in December 2019 has now been assigned the name “COVID-19” by the WHO, to include all forms of the disease from mild to severe.

    On behalf of our membership, AATB filed a Citizen Petition to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) related to the use of human acellular dermal matrices (hADM) for use in post-mastectomy breast reconstruction procedures.
