2020 QDEW is Canceled

After much consideration and discussion, the American Association of Tissue Banks has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Quality & Donor Eligibility Workshop scheduled for April 6-8, 2020, in Portland, OR. Given the ongoing spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), the rapidly evolving nature of the situation, and recently released guidelines and restrictions on large group gatherings in Oregon, we feel that out of an abundance of caution, canceling the event is the right decision.

Although the 2020 QDEW will no longer take place in the way that we intended, we are currently exploring ways in which we can bring some of the great content and presentations we had planned, to all those who were planning to attend and more, in a virtual environment. More information will be forthcoming.

All registrations for the 2020 QDEW have been canceled and will be refunded. Meeting registrants will receive follow-up communication with more information in the coming days.

We remain grateful to everyone who has worked tirelessly with the planning of the 2020 QDEW, especially the AATB Program committee, and who will continue to assist with next steps for the canceled event. We share your disappointment and sincerely thank you for your understanding of this very difficult decision.
