2024 AATB Annual Meeting: Things to Know Before You Go!

The Annual Meeting begins next week, Monday, September 30 – Thursday, October 3, at the Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center in Aurora, CO.

As you prepare for this exciting event, we encourage you to explore the meeting agenda on our event website and review the key logistical details provided below. Doing so will help you navigate the conference with ease and fully engage in all that it has to offer.

 
Before Leaving Home
What to Wear
Conference: Business Casual- we suggest attendees dress in layers and wear comfortable shoes.*
"Reach the Peak" Social Event: Come as you are and enjoy a casual evening. Keep in mind that parts of the event will be held outdoors, so plan your attire with that in mind.*

*Conference badges will be required for the entirety of the event, so be sure to wear yours.
 
Download the Mobile Event App! 
Make the most of your conference experience with the 2024 AATB Annual Meeting mobile event app. If you've used the app in previous years, please ensure you update it or install the latest version. The app provides access to the agenda, allows you to create a personalized schedule, view presentations, connect with attendees, explore exhibitors, complete session evaluations, and more.

How to Download the Mobile Event App

  • Search for the "Eventscribe" app in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
  • Install and open the event app
  • Search for "AATB" in the Upcoming Events
  • Tap the Annual Meeting event icon to launch the event's app

Conference Website
If you prefer using a computer, the conference website offers full access to conference materials, and session evaluations.

App and Conference Website Credentials
If you are registered for the conference, your login is the email address you used to register for the conference. Your Password (Access Key) was emailed to you on Thursday, September 12, and will be sent again on Thursday, September 26. 

Cancellation Policy
Refunds are no longer available for cancellations and are not available for no-shows; however, you may transfer your registration to a colleague by contacting aatb@aatb.org.

 

Once you arrive in Aurora
Early Badge Pickup
When: Monday, September 30, 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM MT
Where: Registration Desk
Be sure to pick up your badge early! Conference badges are required for entry and participation throughout the entire event.

Exclusive Welcome Breakfast for First-Time Attendees
First-time attendees are invited to join us for a Welcome Breakfast on Tuesday, October 1, at 7:30 AM MT. This event provides a great opportunity to meet fellow newcomers, get acquainted with the conference format, and receive tips for making the most of your experience.

Shuttle Service
Guests staying at the Element Hotel can enjoy the convenience of a complimentary shuttle service running every 15-20 minutes between the Gaylord Rockies Resort and the Element Hotel during the meeting. The shuttle schedule can be found in the mobile event app. Please remember that conference badges are required for using the shuttle service and for entry throughout the event. 

Earn Credits
Educational credit available include:
AATB Certified Tissue Banking Specialist (CTBS) – 16 CEU max
EBAA Certified Eye Bank Technician (CEBT) – 16 CEU max

To earn credits for the 2024 Annual Meeting, you must complete both the overall conference evaluation and individual session evaluations. You can submit these evaluations in real-time via the conference app or website, or after the event. Please complete all evaluations by November 1. CEUs will be automatically added to your portal account by the end of the year.
