February 1 marks the beginning of Black History Month! AATB is joining the Association for Multicultural Affairs in Transplantation (AMAT) in spreading a viral message of awareness and hope throughout February in commemoration of Black History Month.
AMAT's African American Workgroup has curated this year's toolkit highlighting donors, donor families, living donors, transplant recipients, and donation champions. These members pride themselves on serving their communities, with many advocating, educating, and sharing their personal stories about the importance of organ, eye, and tissue donation.
