AATB is seeking nominations for the eight AATB councils in the following leadership positions: Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, and Secretary. The term length is two years and begins at the conclusion of the next Annual Business Meeting. The Chairperson(s) of each council will represent their council on, and will serve as a member of, the AATB Board of Governors.
You have until May 1, 2024, to either self-nominate or nominate an AATB individual member who is an employee of an AATB-Accredited Institution in good standing to run for a council officer position. If you plan to submit a nomination, please carefully read the instructions below.
All AATB individual members listed below were first nominated by the Nominating and Awards Committee and then agreed to run for the associated position.

All nominations must be received by Wednesday, May 1. The election will open on Monday, June 3, at 11:00 AM, EDT, and close on Monday, July 1, at 11:59 PM, EDT. All council members who are individual members of the Association and employees of an AATB-Accredited institution in good standing are eligible to be elected to a council officer position for the council to which they belong. All council members who are individual members of the Association in good standing are eligible to nominate other eligible members for a council officer position for the council of which they are both members.
Nominations: If you wish to nominate yourself or another member as a candidate for election, please complete the Council Officer Nomination by Petition Form and Nominating Petition(s), signed by at least ten percent (10%) of the Council membership or ten (10) individual members of the particular Council to which the petition relates, whichever is greater. A signature may be denoted in writing or by use of an electronic signature. The petitions and all signatures must be submitted to AATB together as a package. Names of nominees submitted by petition (that comply with Article IV and Article VIII of AATB Bylaws) will be added to the names submitted by the individual council nominating committees for the upcoming election.
Nominations must be received no later than May 1, 2024.

Join an AATB Council and Vote in the Upcoming Election
The AATB biennial election for 2024-2026 Council Officers will open June 3. In order to participate in these elections, you must be an AATB member currently serving on a council. If you are not currently a member of one of AATB’s eight councils and would like to join, or if you would like to change your council affiliation, make sure to do so before May 10 to be eligible to participate in the election.
